Αthens Fashion Week, is the official fashion week of Athens, Greece, taking place biannually, every October-November and March-April. It is designed and developed according to international high caliber production standards, showcasing supreme, established and emerging Greek fashion designers and brands, entailing a collective of diverse fashion-related side events and welcoming exquisite international special guests. AFW’s mission is to create new opportunities for the development of the fashion industry by providing a platform for Greek Designers to connect with media representatives and fashion buyers within and beyond Greek borders, while contributing to cultural progress and establishing Athens as a fashion destination.
Αthens Fashion Week will return to Zappeio Megaron, on November 1st until November 4th 2023. Fashion designers, celebrities, top models, reporters from all over the world in addition to distinct guests will be viewing fashions’ ultimate celebration. Zappeio Megaron, the established base of Athens Fashion Week, will host runwaysby Greek as well as foreign designers, beloved fashion brands and fresh talented youth who are planning on showcasing their collections. Breathtaking catwalks and groundbreaking concept shows are certain to overflow Athens with style and glamour!
Wednesday 1/11fashion house Nikos- Takis will open the show. Next on designer Irene Angelopoulos. The opening day finale is set to be Kathy Heyndels with Marios Togos.
Thursday 2/11 is dedicated to emerging designers and the «New Designers Awards by Huawei Watch GT4».On the same day, students and graduates from Romina Karamanea Fashion School, will present their one of a kind creations while the ceremony for the «New Designers Awards by Huawei GT4» will be presented by the talented Gina Alimonou.
Friday 3/11 will unfold with the creations of Suzana Peric. Xana andthe Cypriot designer Afroditi Hera will follow. On the third day the show will end with Konstantinos Tsigaros.
Saturday 4/11 will open with Vassilis Zoulias along with Pericles Kondylatos.
The rest of the shows will continue at Zappeio Megaron with Bold by Angelique. Olga Karaververis will follow and Athens Fashion week will close with the impressive fashion show Temenos by Lakis Gavalas.
Athens Fashion Week will be shot and projected by Cosmote TV.
