Athens Fashion Week has established one of its goals as an institution: to support, to promote and reward new and talented designers with “NEW DESIGNERS AWARDS”.
New Designers Awards is an institution, which offers the opportunity to new talents to present their work to the fashion crowd and public, while competing for 3 important awards: Best Catwalk, Best Trendsetter, Best New Designer and Fashion Gadget of the year, an award inspired by our sponsor HUAWEI who renamed the New Designers Awards.
This season, the New Designers Awards is proudly supported by HUAWEI FreeClip. Six new designers present a mini collection of 10 outfits each, in groups and they are judged by a respectful jury of established fashion designers, buyers and fashion media representatives from Greece and abroad. The winners are awarded important prizes: Participation in other international fashion weeks, co-operations with major fashion boutiques, scholarships for fashion studies, presentations of the winner in important media are some of the important awards!
Before the award ceremony a special runway wiil take place with looks from all six competitors and a creation from each one drawing inspiration from the accessories HUAWEI FreeClip, whilst the models wore the Fashion Gadget by Huawei paired with their creation.
