The contest welcomes fashion and art students, as well as self-taught creatives with a natural flair for design, regardless of their academic background. Its purpose is to discover, recognize, and promote new voices in the fashion industry.
The winner of the Fashion Design Project will have the opportunity to present their debut mini-collection at Athens Fashion Week and compete alongside fashion school graduates in the upcoming New Designers Awards — free of participation fee. In addition, the winner will receive access to mentoring, studio space, and facilities, offering a unique foundation for launching their professional journey.
After the submission period closes, a committee of fashion industry professionals will review all sketches and select the Top 10 designs.
These shortlisted designs will then be published on the official AFW Instagram platform, where the public can vote for their favorite. The design receiving the most votes within the set timeframe will be announced as the winner.

By submitting a sketch via email, participants confirm that the work is entirely their own and not created by any AI tool or copied from another source. Any proven case of plagiarism or fraudulent entry will result in immediate disqualification and potential legal action.
