With originality, creativity, inspiration, and creations of high aesthetics, the 36th Athens Fashion Week concluded, once again affirming the event’s status as a key reference point for Greek fashion and design. This season, the event took place in carefully selected, iconic locations, with the central hub being the Stone Warehouse of the Piraeus Port Authority (OLP) in Piraeus. The fashion shows by Vassilis Zoulias and Paris Valtadoros were held at the Piraeus Municipal Theater and the 91 Private Club in Glyfada, respectively. The event ran from April 2nd to April 7th, attracting a crowd of glamorous guests, fashion professionals, editors, celebrities, and influencers, while showcasing the latest trends in Greek and global fashion.
Renowned Greek and international fashion designers and brands presented their collections: the fashion brand The Artians by Konstantina with the “Malamata SS25” collection, acclaimed designer Dassios with the collection “Sandstorm,” and the beloved designer Daphne Valente, who celebrated her 40-year career in fashion with the collection “Not the Gordian Knot.” The timeless house Kathy Heyndels – Marios Togos presented the “Ethereal” collection, while Italian designer Marielle B Green unveiled her “Blue Eye” collection, inspired by the small blue Greek evil eye charm. Also present was the popular house GIANNETOS, with a different concept showcasing the “Sustainable Elegance” collection, along with designer Scala di Barelier and his impressive “Scarlet Summer” collection. The brand Nema impressed with its breezy “Resort Wear” line, while Celebrity Skin by Dimitris Strepkos presented the Avant-Garde collection “Sante Alegria 25” featuring celebrities on the runway. Lastly, Paris Valtadoros wowed the audience with his “Lagoon” collection in a stunning setting in Glyfada.
Once again, the New Designers Awards by SKRATS took place — a major highlight of the event. There were four awards in total this season, as SKRATS introduced a new category: the “Best SKRATS Designer,” inspired by the popular brand. The concept was that each designer had to incorporate a “luck”-related element inspired by SKRATS into their collection, and the one with the most imaginative SKRATS theme would be the lucky winner. This season’s host of the New Designers Awards by SKRATS was the stunning Ismini Papavlassopoulou, a well-known model and presenter with both domestic and international acclaim. The President of Athens Fashion Week, Tonia Fouseki, also took the floor to speak about the importance of the institution and how, over the course of Fashion Week’s history, it has helped launch the careers of many now-renowned designers.
The remaining New Designers Awards by SKRATS, which offer significant prizes for emerging designers, were as follows:
- Best Catwalk: Includes an interview with the internationally renowned website Huffington Post and an internship at the atelier of the fashion house Kathy Heyndels.
- Best Trendsetter: Includes an internship at the atelier of the iconic Vassilis Zoulias and a scholarship at the Athens Fashion Club.
- Best New Designer: Grants participation in an international Fashion Week with no financial cost for the designer — a unique experience and opportunity capable of launching a new designer’s career.
The event was supported by fashion industry professionals who honored the organization with their presence and participation on the judging panel. The jury included Tassos Mitropoulos, a beloved fashion designer with many years of experience, as well as the distinguished fashion designer Eleni Kavvada. The panel also featured international judges such as Jyoti Matoo from the British Voir Fashion Magazine and buyer Margaux Bagur from Paris, who manages showrooms in France and New York and collaborates in the Middle East.
The participating contestants who presented their imaginative collections were: Mocka, Calista Aurora, Athenee, Pearl of Me, Dear by Agapitos Kouros, and The Briteline.

- Best SKRATS Designer: The SKRATS committee evaluated the efforts of the six designers who created outfits inspired by SKRATS and selected Calista Aurora as the winner.
