Athens Fashion Week is a significant event for fashion in Greece, setting the foundation for establishing a lasting institution within the Greek and international fashion industries. It provides participants the opportunity to create new collaborations, strengthen professional networks, and present their creations to a broad community.

This season’s Fashion Design Project is conducted digitally, where participants can send in fashion designs inspired by sea colors to the event’s email at fdp.afw@gmail.com. This theme is inspired by HELMEPA, the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association, which the event supports. The competition is open to talented individuals seeking to make their debut as emerging fashion designers, including fashion and arts students and anyone from the general public with a talent for design, regardless of academic background. The winner will have the chance to present their first mini-collection during Athens Fashion Week.

The event received coverage from local TV networks and international media, including L’Officiel Arabia from the Middle East, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle from Serbia, and Voir Fashion Magazine from the UK. Buyers from Paris, Vienna, Barcelona, and Japan also attended.

In addition to television coverage, the 35th Athens Fashion Week also had a strong online presence.
